Bimbi has been a professional performer for 20 years, but personal circumstances led her to look in into how singing can benefit those living with Parkinson's. She was delighted that Singing is hugely beneficial, beyond the obvious benefit of keeping the voice strong. After studying with SingToBeat (Parkinsons) Bimbi set up the Singing Cafes. In each session we come together and work on both Bradykinesia and gait freeze, rigidity and tremors, breathing, posture, memory and sequencing; all whilst having fun, being loud, proud (and often wrong!). The main thing to know is that you don't need to have ANY experience of singing to come along and enjoy the Singing Cafe.
